How to raise 2 girls in 18 years......
After watching world news, reading the local newspaper, and one small panick attack later.....I realize that I have no idea how to prepare these little girls of mine for life in this day and age. I realize I need to teach them things that will get them through sound, unharmed, unscathed. I'd like to see them self-reliant, ambitious, strong, smart, and compassionate. I know every mom wants this for their children...so I am calling on all those wise to the world to post some words of wisdom for my babies as they grow up in this world of diseases, predators, cheats, terrorists and oh ya, boys. Who has advice for these two....and the mother that will guide them through....?
Go ahead, click on comments and list a few things you think these little girls should know as they head into this world!
I'll start with a few I am teaching them now:
1. Dance and laugh often, its infectious.
2. Share and consider others and most often they will do the same for you.
3. Try lots of things, travel, explore, discover, learn.

Listen to The Ramones.
And listen to The Beatles.......
When times are tough, be there for eachother. Siblings have a way of understanding what most others don't, can't, or won't.
Well, first off, don't watch the world news and read the local paper. (I'm halfway kidding about that. Halfway. But I think there's a lot of sensationalism there that paints the world as a terrible place. And sometimes it is, but not always.)
The world is what we make it. Surround yourself with good, smart, loving people. Be gentle with yourself and others. Don't be afraid to make something. I don't care what. Just make something. Listen to your mom and dad about the music.

always be there for eachother, your sister is your soulmate.
Advice for Mom and Dad... Be ever vigilant and always trust your first gut instinct. If you say no and get a strong reaction, no doubt you have done the right thing!! To Boogie and No No Bug...be diverse in your music. There is promise in all types.
i wish someone had told me that i didn't have to wait around to be "chosen"...
that i could be the chooser...
